THE Shortlist for The Awards for Excellence in Public Relations in Ireland has been announced.

Celebrating 30 years in existence this year, the Awards will be presented at a Gala Lunch event, in the Round Room of the Mansion House, Dublin, Ireland, on Friday, 16 June.

The Awards celebrate the best Irish public relations and communications work by public, private and not-for-profit organizations and are hosted by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) and the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).

Shortlisted work demonstrates the breadth of the projects undertaken by in-house and agency teams in the twelve months since March 2022. Quality work was entered on campaigns from digital and sustainability innovations to international crime-fighting, illness prevention, new brands and re-brands to fashion and festivals.

With the highest-ever number of organizations entering this year, those shortlisted were selected from almost 200 entries, across twenty-seven categories. The campaigns were evaluated by a panel of thirteen public relations and communications industry leaders and academics.

Following interviews with the judges later this month, the shortlist for the Young Communication Professional of the Year category will be announced.

The Awards are sponsored by Fennell Photography (In-house PR Team of the Year), Onclusive (PRCA Agency of the Year), RuePointMedia (Best Issues Led Campaign) and Paragon Customer Communications.
