News: Gavin Nugent joins CW8 from Coca-Cola Europe

CW8 Communications (CW8), a global boutique strategic communications advisory firm, has appointed Gavin Nugent (pictured) as an associate director in the corporate affairs practice. Nugent will report to Colm Woods, managing director of corporate affairs at CW8.  

Nugent, who brings a decade of experience, joins from Coca-Cola, where he was sustainability communications manager for Europe. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Nugent held a number of communications advisory, public policy and press office roles – all with a sustainability lens. He has spent time at state-backed provider Irish Water as well as acting as communications manager for Ireland’s Green Party.

Led by Colm Woods, formerly Aramark Northern Europe’s director of corporate communications and regional Net Zero strategy lead, the team currently advises on a wide range of communications for sustainability-linked solutions, ClimateTech and AgriTech.
