The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has launched its 2024 UK Census, to measure key attributes of the PR and communications industry and assess its key challenges and opportunities.
The survey will cover a broad range of topics, providing insight into the industry’s size, scale and output, and will measure characteristics into the industry’s workforce, including practitioners’ social status, equality, diversity and inclusion, and issues affecting staff retention.
Key areas of focus:
PRCA CEO James Hewes said: “The 2024 UK Census sets the agenda for our industry. By gathering detailed data on the key challenges we face, we can tackle issues holding the industry back, and advocate for real, actionable change. We urge all PR and communications professionals to participate in the survey and make their voices heard.
“The census will provide industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners with the insights needed to drive meaningful change and address the most pressing challenges facing the PR and communications sector. We urge our colleagues throughout the industry to fill it in and pass it on, so we have the most robust data possible.”
